1) Module I. Russian Alphabet. Phonetic.
Module Overview: This module is aimed at helping those who are interested in learning the basics of the Russian language and preparing learners to further their language acquisition. The module includes different interactive reading and listening exercises, video and audio materials that will help learners to get familiar with Russian Alphabet. You will have practical training in correct reading and pronunciation. This course is for those students with little or no ability in the language.
Objectives: The emphasis of this module is on Russian (Cyrillic) alphabet, spelling rules, phonetic system, pronunciation, transliteration, intonation constructions, and basic reading.
Outcomes: Upon completion of the module students will start to read!
